Carola Carstens
Carola Carstens works in the unit Methodology; Innovation in Official Statistic at EUROSTAT and is the Project Manager for EMOS cross-border traineeships. In previous positions, she managed projects on Open Data and Big Data as a Project and Programme Officer in DG CONNECT. Before joining the European Commission in 2012, she studied International Information Management at the University of Hildesheim in Germany and conducted research on Semantic Web technologies in the context of her PhD in Information Science.
